Tehran Movie Writing & Themes

Written by Bindni Karia, Ritesh Shah, and Ashish Prakash Verma, Tehran refuses to take the easy route of showing one side as entirely right or wrong. It explores the human cost of political conflict , the thin lines between hero and villain, and the personal sacrifices made in the name of national duty . The mix of Hindi and Farsi dialogues further grounds the movie in authenticity.

Tehran Movie Criticisms:

The revenge angle feels a bit light for such a complex geopolitical setup. Some emotional moments could have hit harder and few strong supporting characters deserved more screen time.

Final Verdict

Tehran isn’t your typical loud, over-the-top Bollywood spy film. It’s sharp, grounded, and heavy on atmosphere — a tense political thriller that stays engaging from start to finish. With solid performances, authentic action, and a story rooted to real-world events, it’s a perfect Independence Day weekend watch for fans of John Abraham, ZEE5 originals, and true-event inspired thrillers.
