Here are the List of OTT Platforms Banned by Indian Government. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has ordered internet service providers to block public access to the apps and websites of ULLU, ALTBalaji, and 23 other OTT platforms for displaying obscene, sexual, and pornographic content. The ban was enacted on July 23. These platforms were accused of frequent nudity and lengthy, explicit sexual and pornographic content lacking any storyline. The Digital Publisher Content Grievances Council (DPCGC), a self-regulatory body regulated by a former judge of the Supreme Court of India, described the content as “distasteful and bizarre.”
