It feels surreal that Stranger Things Season 5 is finally coming to an end. From watching Eleven eat Eggo waffles and speak her first words, to watching the whole gang against deadliest creatures from another world — this show has given us some serious memories.
Now with Season 5 on the way, there’s both excitement and sadness. We all know it’s the last one, and no matter how ready we think we are — we’re really not.
Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date
We’ll finally get to see it on November 26, with Volume 1, 2, and the final episodes on Netflix . There are a total of 8 episodes. It feels far away, I know — but since it’s the last season, they’re probably making sure it’s perfect.
To be honest, it’s going to hurt letting go of Stranger Things. It wasn’t just a show. It was something we waited for, talked about, made theories on, and rewatched like crazy. But endings don’t always have to be sad. Sometimes, they remind us just how much something meant to us.

Everything’s Falling Apart
If you remember how Season 4 ended, Hawkins was basically on the edge of collapse. Vecna may have been hurt, but he’s still out there. And now? The Upside Down isn’t just creeping in anymore — it’s taking over. That last scene still gives me goosebumps.
Max is in a coma, Will’s having those strange feelings again, and Eleven… she’s got a lot to deal with.
The Friendships = Everything
One thing that never changed through the seasons is the bond between the characters. Whether it’s Mike and Will’s quiet connection or Steve and Dustin’s hilarious bromance, these friendships are the real heart of the show.
It’s crazy how we’ve watched them grow up on screen. They were just kids in Season 1. Now they’re teens, carrying the weight of the world.
Stranger Things Season 4 Story
Stranger Things Season 4 is split into three main stories, all happening at the same time.
In Hawkins, a terrifying new monster named Vecna starts killing teenagers by preying on their past pain. The group of friends has to figure out who or what he is and how to stop him.
Meanwhile, Eleven is in California without her powers. To get them back, she has to face her past, where she learns a shocking truth about Vecna: he’s connected to her own history at the lab.
Across the world in Russia, Joyce and Murray are on a dangerous trip to save Hopper, who they find is being held in a prison.
In the end, everyone works together to fight Vecna. They manage to slow him down but don’t defeat him. The season closes with the Upside Down starting to take over Hawkins, setting the stage for a final showdown.
