After having a terrific Tri-series win against Sri Lanka & South Africa . India women Vs England women matches are scheduled in England now. Indian women team is touring England for 3 ODIs and 5 T20s.
What happened in the past in India Women Vs England Women series?
Last time when Indian women visited England they stunned the England team by clean swiping them in a 3 match ODI series and created history.
In the last ODI where Indian team was defending a very low total of just 170 runs bowled too well and bundled out the whole England team in just 153 runs and won the match by 16 runs. (England Women vs Indian Women national cricket team 3rd ODI match Scorecard)
However, there was a controversial incident in the match when Deepti Sharma ran out Charlie Dean at the Non- Striker end before delivering the ball who was batting well on 47 off 80 balls and was determined to take her side home.
However, Deepti Sharma acted smart and ran her out for advancing too much.
What to Expect?
Both the teams are in their top notch form where Indian girls’ confidence is high after winning the Tri-nation series against Srilanka and South Africa on the other hand England women had just clean swept West Indies women in both T20s and ODIs.
